Learning Together
This unit links three habits of an effective language learner: noticing precisely, persisting when an attempt fails, and imagining a viewpoint different from one’s own. You will examine how narrators guide attention, how sensory details carry meaning, and how a writer turns observation into inference. Language work focuses on purposeful verbs, personification, sentence connections, and precise reference words. Writing and speaking tasks ask you to describe an experience without rushing to a judgement, listen for another person’s evidence, and revise an idea after feedback. The companion texts below are original; use them to practise the same transferable reading, writing, vocabulary, grammar, listening, and speaking skills that the Poorvi unit develops.
